Decided to pen this down while my memories are still fresh.
Just back from our honeymoon last sunday. Went to Austria and Switzerland this time round. This was our first europe trip and we were both excited as the thought of going swiss is just so exhilarating
Took qatar for the first time. Left on gd fri and i must say qatar has a little more legroom than sq. Which to me, and to my huds who has long legs, is a super good fit.
Austria - Vienna, Salzburg, innsbruck.
i kinda like the architecture in Austria. So pretty. Everywhere u go, is the baroque style. Omg. Thats like major love.
Food wise, i find them ok. Potatoes and meat.
Oh but personally me N huds felt tt got one restaurant, we had a feel they dun lik chinese or asians. Not sure which but both of us talked abt it after we left and its then I realise it wasnt just me who feel that. And we felt it from different svc staff.
Human traffic was terrible given that its gd fri n easter monday. And in europe, everyone has to watch out for pickpockets so.. Its kinda tiring mentally. I didnt shop much as the prices arent rly tt cheap. Though baby did bag me a few swarovski items hehe
SWITZERLAND - Lucerne, Bern, interlaken zurich
Went up. Mount titlis
Missed Jungfraujoch as the wind was 192km/h tt day.
Amazingly cold trip but we survived and i made baby wear the neck wrap i bought for him on my own as i know he will say no need until he needs it.
It was a brand new experience touring the town and we got our first rolex item.
Bought our wedding watch thr and parent's bday gift for the yr.
Found automatic watch for daddy too.
Ate at this italian restaurant with rly yummy spicy mac n cheese in lucerne.
Ate tradition rosti and yummy thai fd in interlaken. Note that baby ate cheese n thai fd. *Clapclap*
Shopped around bern and baby gt me a watch ring oh and we saw bears! Real bears in the bearpit
By the way it was his bday and we bought sacher torte to celebrate. It was a tad too sweet but worth the try.
Baby was being all manly lifting both our luggages at the same time while i stroll to walk into our hotel n watch him in awe.
Ohhh one of our stay was in Royal st George's at interlaken and it was an amazing vintage hotel over 100yrs. The place is so pretty i cannots. Plus u can open the window n go to the balcony where i can sit thr n watch the cows munching grass. There was an unwelcome insect tt flew in and baby cupped it away immediately. I dont wanna travel without him. <3 p="">
